Beehives are busy at the moment with plenty of pollen and nectar coming in. It’s also a busy time for varroa mite accessing more brood.
Welcome to summer! The weather is certainly hot and humid after plenty of rain events. It is important to manage small hive beetle (SHB) when you are monitoring for varroa.
The Autumn edition of "The Flow" provides advice about varroa in the Toowoomba region and the workshops our club is running to help beekeepers to learn how to keep your hives alive.
